Ubisoft says they might have taken on too much with Watch_Dogs

A portion of a Guardian interview with Ubisoft CEO, Yves Guillemot...

“It’s a real challenge to create those types of games. When they come out, especially the first iterations, they are not perfect on everything. We think we launched a good quality game for a first step in a new brand with a new technology. It’s just so complex – seamless multiplayer, connectivity with mobile and tablets, so many things – it was maybe a bit too much for a first iteration.”

FreezeME dev talks story, GamePad usage, release date and price

A portion of a NintendoNuggets interview with FreezeME devs, Rainy Night Creations...

NN: Can you tell us a little about the story?

RNC: The protagonist of FreezeMe is “R,” a brown-eyed moppet with a camera around her neck. R is hot on the trail of her best friend, “M,” who has been abducted by the dastardly Fat the Cat. Fat the Cat longs to create what he describes as a “Free-Dog-World,” and exactly how kidnapping M will help him with this goal remains something of a mystery, but R is determined to thwart him by rescuing M from his clutches. To enter Fat the Cat’s isolated lair, where M is being held, R needs a special key. The key can only be forged from pieces of an ancient material, which are yellow cubes. As R collects the pieces of ancient material, she will unlock new areas, and ultimately find enough pieces to assemble the key and enter the final boss’s lair to save her friend.

NN: Will this title utilize any special features of the Wii U™ GamePad?

RNC: If yes, please explain. Touch screen. You can freeze the enemies and objects by touching the Gamepad.

NN: When is the release date and what will the title be priced at?

RNC: Hoping to release before the end of this year, no specific dates yet. Regarding the price something between 10/15$
