Ended up being a solo show today. Mom Brain is still visiting family, and everyone else is either working or on vacation somewhere. That leaves me to man the show, but I don't mind one bit! The show must ALWAYS go on, and on it went!

Zelda: BotW E3 demo sneaks in a very slow version of the 'Song of Time'

Notice anything with the piano riffs in that footage above? Some might pick up on it right away, others might miss it completely. The short, spread-out piano bits in that footage make up the Song of Time from Ocarina of Time. If you speed up the footage, you can hear it much better.

Huge thanks to Curbles for the heads up!

Hot Rod Racer coming to Wii U in July

The year is 199X. The world’s most dangerous racing competition has been created: the F-Ze… er, I mean the INFINITRACK GP! Created by – oh, I don’t know, some nefarious corporation I suppose – it stretches on indefinitely and has never been completed by ANYONE. Of course, that hasn’t stopped thousands of thrill-seekers from attempting to conquer it every day on their shiny new bikes and in their speedy new hot rods, and on this day in particular you too take it upon yourself to join those who have etched their names in the halls of glory by challenging this course yourself. There’s just one problem… you’ve somehow managed to get onto the track driving the wrong way! But hey, a couple of head-on collisions never hurt anybody, right? (Don’t quote me on that.) Choose your vehicle, give it a paint job and some upgrades, and see how far you can make it on the Infinitrack! This is Hot Rod Racer!

- multiple vehicles
- four different environments

Monster Hunter Generations Localization Notes Part 3 - Gammoth, Malfestio and Moofah

The second of The Fated Four I’d like to talk about is Gammoth, a mountain of a beast that you’ll find in frigid regions such as the Arctic Ridge and the Frozen Seaway. It’s the most gentle-looking of the new flagship monsters, but don’t let that fool you—it won’t hesitate to crush anything it deems a threat! It can dish out powerful smashes and wide sweeping attacks with its large trunk, and even suck the air to pull in enemies into its attack range. Oh, and did I mention its trunk has FANGS on it? Because it does. And it’s not just its attacks you have to worry about. Gammoth can cover its legs in snow, which acts as a thick coat of protective armor. It can then flip this defense into offense by stomping its feet with enough force to scatter the snow in all directions, inflicting nearby hunters with Snowman status.
