Nintendo participating in Extra Life charity stream on Nov. 7th

On November 7th, the Official Nintendo team is participating in Extra Life, a 24 hour gaming marathon that benefits Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. Find out more about Extra Life and how it started here. Each of us have joined this team as passionate gamers who have one mission: to give sick kids an “extra life”!

We can't do this without your help. Donating online is safe and easy! Many people pledge $1 per hour, that's $24 total, and all proceeds go to help kids. To make an online donation please click a team member's name and then click the "Support This Participant" button. Cash and check donations will also be accepted. Please see the team captain Melissa Felzer for more information on offline donations.

If you are not able to donate, please help spread the word! Share this page on Twitter or Facebook, email your friends and family, etc. The more people that get involved means the more kids’ lives me can save!

Since 2010, Extra Life has raised more than $14 million to help children's hospitals provide critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment, research and charitable care. It's our sincere hope that you will consider supporting our efforts with a monthly pledge or one-time gift that will go directly to giving kids an “extra life”!

Random Time! - Mario Kart 64 projected/played on the side of a building in East Village

I've played Mario Kart on some pretty big screens, but I've never had the joy of playing it while projected on the side of an apartment building in the East Village. Now there's something else I have to add to my bucket list!

Escape from Flare Industries coming to Wii U

So, there are these jerks who run a factory called Flare Industries who locked up and try to sell this slime-kinda guy called Splat. Splat doesn’t really like being locked in a cage and wants to do his own thing, so he’s trying to escape. He’s gotta navigate the factory, solve puzzles, rescue his fellow slime homies, and ideally would like to not die. Think you can help him?

In “Escape From Flare Industries”, it’s up to you to help Splat get out of the factory. Jump over acid, avoid spikes, rescue your friends, collect all the flasks, and fight the boss!

“Escape From Flare Industries” hits the Wii U eShop soon… hopefully!
