Spong has been in touch with one of their “trusted sources” who has told them a little more about the situation of Sega downloads on the Revolution.

According to Spong, Sega is “”on the brink of being in a position to announce exactly what it has agreed [with Nintendo]” which involves games from their 16 bit generation. Spong also says that 32X, Game Gear, Saturn, and all other Sega platforms are not out of the question, but the first announcement will relate to the Genesis, and the latest we will hear this announcement would be E3.

Spong’s information also told them that, “Sega essentially has everything ready to go, as the Dreamcast was due to host a selection of downloadable back-catalogue, a program that it can pretty much hand over on a plate. There is some legal involvement with NEC, though I think this is in the process of being ironed out”
