Looks like we have a more firm release date for the Wii U in all territories, but that dream of the system launching right around E3 is now over. Satoru Iwata stated that the Wii U will see launch by this holiday season in North America, Japan, Europe and Australia.
Iwata also made statements concerning the 3DS, stating that big titles will be coming all year long. No specific titles were mentioned, but the Big N wants to make sure they return to profitability as soon as possible.
I guess that could still mean a release anytime after E3, but I'm thinking the holiday season is more likely. Thanks to all that sent this in!
