Resident Evil: Revelations - review

A portion of a Siliconera review...

You have to be incredibly cautious because Resident Evil: Revelations is absolutely a survival game, although I would classify it as a “survival adventure”. There’s really no horror aspect, though I will admit jumping once or twice when a BOW appeared seemingly out of nowhere. The game provides just enough ammo to defeat bosses and a handful of other enemies.

I like the mix of survival horror and action parts but the one thing that creeped me out was the one BOW that says " I found YOU" with that creepy laugh that part reminded me of the new "the thing" and that movie was a lil on the gross side but good.

No horror aspect? The boss that "needs a hug" and the BOW mentioned above with her laughing all the time was pure horror to me. I ran like mad :)

Amount of ammo =/= amount of horror

Sick of that nonsense suggestion.

Sounds like he was playing with the lights on and without his headphones on if he didn't get the horror aspects of the game.

To be fair, the exact same thing could be said of your signature.

I personally found the game to have several good scares, and a bunch of great tense moments. It could have focused a little more on keeping those feelings going, as I found the tension came and left at awkward intervals.
So to me, it's not as scary as say, System Shock 2. But it's definitely scarier than RE5.

@DARKflame34

The thing is,that RER IS scary and Portal is just a mini-game with low to zero production values,with zero variety, absolutely zero replayability, some funny lines but most of them cheesy as hell, some puzzles being solved randomly and a completely messed up difficulty curve....

So yeah,my sig is right!
