Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon is already available in Japan on the 3DS VC, but it looks like the title will be hitting Australia as well. That means Europe can expect it as well. Being a huge Goemon fan, I'd love to get my hands on this title. I've never played it!

You aren't missing much with this title, RMC. It's pretty bad for a Goemon game, as much as it pains me to say that. Stick to the SNES and N64 Goemon titles we got.
Does this hint at a revival of the franchise?

Me and some buddies are going to marathon Mystical Ninja 64 in a few weeks. Soooo stoked.
I've never heard of this. But I loved the SNES game. just the Konami intro from it is enought to make tears.
Not a good game. After each level, you get a ridiculous "boss battle" where you have to press A quickly... and if you aren't quick enough, it's back to the start of the level with no second chances. Great design idea there.
Outside of that it's not so terrible... just uninspired.
Pretty much this. It's not even a "back to the start of the level" if you lose, it's back TO THE VERY START OF THE GAME. The levels are difficult enough, but then after beating the boss they throw you this minigame with no explanation and you gotta press A as quickly as you can to beat it. Add all that to just one life where you die even once, POOF, game over.
Why is this uprated? It's the worst game in the series...before New Age that is.
I wonder if it's coming to North America or not. I've never played this game in the series.
