Capcom - Future of Monster Hunter in NA is very bright, just have patience

Here's what Capcom's Christian Svennson had to say when discussing the possibility of Monster Hunter 3G being brought to the states, and the state of the Monster Hunter brand outside of Japan.

“I can’t tell you definitively yes or no at this point in time. The reality is, obviously we’ve not brought over Portable 3rd, we’ve not brought brought over Portable 3rd HD. At this point, we have not brought over Tri G on 3DS, so when I say this you may look at me as if I have three heads, but trust me, the future of Monster Hunter in the west is very bright. It’s just not clear yet.

As far as the future goes, I have every confidence that at some point in time, people are going to be happy with us again, and I understand the frustration of ‘be patient’ because I’ve been saying it for as long as I have. Just understand that I’d hoped to have a product on the market for you already by now. You’re going to be okay. Just trust me. We need a little more time to make clear what the next phase is.”

Capcom certainly isn't a fan-favorite like it used to be, and it's due to all these wishy-washy statements. Hopefully all this patience we have will pay off...soon. Thanks to Shynra for the heads up.
