Another one of Capcom's big reveals in this week's Famitsu is Ace Attorney 5 for 3DS. We knew that the title was coming, but now we know it's going to land on the 3DS. We don't have many details right now, but it seems that this title will be considered a new start for the series.
Other good news, Phoenix Wright is going to be the main character, but he'll have a new female partner that is central to the story.

Phew, I thought it was going to be HD only, since they are going to release the first 3 on hd consoles. Wii U doesn't sound so bad...
It took Capcom a solid 400 days to announce a game that makes me sad that I don't buy Capcom games anymore. Oh well. Enjoy it for me, guys! You've been waiting a while! Maybe if I'm really impressed with Capcom's 25th Anniversary plans I'll cave and buy myself a copy. Then again, I really only enjoyed the first game, so I'm not too sad. Ditching Maya doesn't help for me though cause I really liked her

Man, this is going to take so long to come out. The wait will be excruciating.
The lack of Maya as the female sidekick is quite disheartening. Favourite character and all, not to mention that chemistry between her and Nick. Maybe Pearl will take her place instead? That'd soften the blow somewhat.
No Apollo disappoints me. But I guess one has to go with what sells, can't blame them for that.

I saw some screens, looks good! Phoenix has a slightly different hair cut and the art looks good. Couldn't tell if it was 3d or not though

This made me buy PW1 on iOS.
3DS is no surprise. The last games were on Nintendo handhelds first and everything that comes for this system, at least in Japan, sells insanely well. It's ridiculous.

This makes me happy, and simultaneously sad that we still don't have AAI 2.
But Phoenix lost his badge so shortly after 3, it'd be hard to do that.
Actually, Apollo sold the best. Phoenix was just more popular among long time fans, which made them torn on what to do with 5 (hence AAI and AAI 2).
Capcom, I still won't forgive you for the lack of AA2, but this news PLEASES ME SO MUCH. <3 <3
