Kirby Star Stacker, Kirby's Dream Land 2 listing in Kirby's Dream Collection 'an oversight', says NoA rep

Thank you for writing. I can definitely understand your concerns regarding what you read in the booklet that came with Kirby's Dream Collection: Special Edition. I don't have an exact answer as to why, but his does appear to be an oversight. As you have found, Kirby's Dream Land 2 has not yet been released through the Nintendo eShop.

It's certainly possible that Kirby's Dream Land 2 will be added to the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console, and I'm happy to forward your interested in it to the appropriate people so that your feedback will be heard. I will also be sure to forward your comments along about the discrepancy in the anniversary booklet.

I'm positive these games will see release in NA at some point, but for now we'll just have to deal with that oversight. Thanks to Popple for the heads up!
