Think of it as a lightweight Starcraft, with some MOBA-DOTA elements thrown in. It's also F2P with a rather extensive microtransaction store, but fortunately a fair amount of the content (at least, the stuff which isn't limited-time holiday/event stuff) can be bought with credits earned from playing in addition to the real cash option.
Isn't AirMech free? So it would be the Wii U's first F2P game?
Not my kinda game - but it's hardly a genre with many entries on a Nintendo system.

That looked very fun. Kind of reminds me of a PS1 game I used to play called Future Cop. I had a lot of fun with that game.
