No offense, but a professional reviewer can, and IMO should, handle writing a mixed review without resorting to use words like "turd." Maybe it's just me, but it makes them sound a bit immature and unprofessional.

I really like Jim's videos, but yeah I'm not really big on his reviews. I'll read them, but not really take them to heart.
Jim makes good videos, but yeah I don't take his reviews to heart. Man gave Sonic Colors, arguably the best Sonic game in years, a 4/10. That just seemed way too low (even Sega agrees, they sent them a joke cake).

I love him for everything but his reviews, though in this case, it has more to do with his rhetoric that this game was still bad before he played it. Just seems like he was never going to give it a chance.
Considering it's pretty much universally agreed that NG3 is neither the pinnacle of gaming nor at least its own series, with metas between 50-60, it's kinda funny to see Jim of all people being doubted for calling out a not exactly great game for being not exactly great. Especially since his 5s can more or less be considered other media's 7s or so, if that's soothing to anyone.
I get the whole "But it's the Wii-U version! It's totally...like...better than the others!" idea, but the analogy of a polished turd doesn't exactly seem that far-fetched here...
So better than mario kart 7 and kid icarus? Sold
