I would assume it'll be eshop, unless the DSiware version was really that successful.
Anyone play that one? Any good?
I'm thinking eShop as well.
Also, I wanna try out this series, but I'm unsure where to start. Should I play Calamity Trigger first, or is it okay to just go straight to Continuum Shift?
there is a story between the series but continuum shift does a pretty big recap
I wonder if the three newcomers will be in it. (Amane, Azrael, and Bullet)
...at first I thought this was a big typo then I found out that's the real title...why the weird name change? Lol.
I second it being alright to skip to Continuum Shift.
Going right to Continuum Shift is fine, it pretty much tells you anything from CT you need to know. Though understand the story is a little hard to follow at first, and that's okay. It'll become clear as you continue through.
This isn't actually Chronophantasma, it's a sequel to the DSi 3D brawler game. I have a friend who has the DSi BlayzeBloo and he maintains that it's really poor. Hopefully this entry is better ?
Wow what a name! That might even beat Bravely Default as weird title of the year award!
I could not have seen this coming.
I hope it's better than the original. Already excited that there is a story mode.
Also, the "Izayoi" thing is the true form of Tsubaki, not her weapon. And that's unrelated to this game.
And the game is "BlayzeBloo: CLONE Phantasma", not Chrono Phantasma, that's the real sequel to Continuum Shift.
Aaaaaand it was confirmed to be a download title/eShop game.
@Nabooru
It's not a name change, it's a spin-off title where all the characters are chibi (like "Teach Me, Miss Litchi!") and a sequel to a DSiWare title.
@GeneticRepoMan
Even for $5/500 points, it's nothing to write home about.
You only have access to 5 characters (Jin, Ragna, Noel, Taokaka and Rachel) and the 'arcade mode' is just a few random arena things with weird settings involving "beat-em up", "points" (collecting ramen bowls) and "flag" (capturing a Panda flag) and characters only have like 2 attacks.
I mean, it's not awful. It's just overpriced and is not really that fun unless you have someone else (locally) to play it with, because once you beat it as all 5 characters, there's not much to do.
Watch a video if you can find one. Basically whatever you see in the video is about all you get. I'd recommend it more if it were only $2.
@Eternal Rain
Having completed Calamity Trigger myself, but not getting Continuum Shift yet, from what I understand, you can just jump right into Continuum Shift. It has all the characters and a brief version of the story mode from the first game, so it's like having both.
I'd also be more inclined to suggest getting Continuum Shift EXTEND, because it has all the DLC and features of the 3DS game, but also has Relius Clover and I think a few other bonuses. It's the 'ultimate' version.
I just hope Chrono Phantasma actually comes to 360 because, I have the first game (and will likely get CSE) on 360 and it'd suck if they suddenly dropped 360 support in the West. We'll see.
The chibi fighters return!
I still play the old one, it worth the money.
