It’s a more sincere follow-up to Super Mario World than any previous game, and even if its innovations are muted and on the periphery, this is the evolution the series needed. It’s a simple question, really: Do you like 2D Mario? If so, play this game. It is that damn good.

One thing that's bothered me, about many of the reviews for this game, especially IGN's, is that they praise the hell out of it for being "a natural followup to Mario 3 and World"....and if NSMBWii WASN'T that. Or as if Mario Wii WASN'T amazing, for that matter. Just saying. Both games are great, but graphics aside, it's not as if U is THAT much better than Wii. In my opinion at least.
