Hhmmmm? Explain, please.
Basically, a bunch of trolls bid on a product for extremely high prices. Once the bidding is over, the user closes his account (hopefully a throwaway) and doesn't pay a dime to the seller.
Hey 59 idiots with nothing better to do with your money. If you clearly don't want your money, how about just giving it to me instead. Send it to my paypal - I♥dumbfu#k$withmoney@gmail.com

Relax - it's a joke auction that's getting joke bids. The winner won't pay and the seller won't pay fees.
Just something to keep in mind, bidding does not equal paying on ebay. I've sold items and not received payment for them numerous times. Like a couple people said above, this is just people putting up phony bids for a laugh. I don't think legitimate buyers oubid themselves numerous times in succession like an number of bidders here have done.
DON'T BUY IT. It's actually an unofficial brand not made by Nintendo. I know it looks very deceiving, but Nintendo makes their's with quality cardboard.
So, hi. I am the user who put it up. I'm going from forum saying how this happened. I put it up as a joke at first, but then I noticed it was going up fast from its starting bid, 10 dollars. Two days later, It was at 2,000. I had no idea how, so I just watched. This morning it was at 25,000. Now it's at 90,500. I'm going to put up a video about it on my YouTube Channel, CheerioHD.

I'm trying to pay you at that account you gave but it's not working.

I'd be surprised if you actually receive payment for this. It seems like people are trolling you to me. Which is kind of fitting since you put it up as a joke anyways.
Almost positive that usually means that they set a max bid really, really high and then other people bid, but since their max bid was higher, it cancels out and just puts the first guy again. So they probably weren't actively bidding 31 times.

Mobs/gangs love to use Ebay to help launder money, when you see crap like this sometimes thats what it is for.
If it's not the official Cardboard pad then no buy
Pretty sure it is one of those "Cancel your account!" bidding wars.
OMG I just got my new business plan!

Man, I need this to go with my Wii U made from news paper, my virtual boy made of duct tape, and my 3DS made from tupper ware!
It now has 59 bids and is up to $25,600.

Now the real funny thing is if the bidder ACTUALLY paid. That would be hysterical! lol

I love that, early on, one guy has 31 of the 76 bids and that he was bidding against himself! Talk about split personalities
ITT: Some people thinking this is serious.

Why can't Nintendo use quality cardboard like Microsoft and Sony? They always get underpowered cardboard.
That pad has great battery life though.
Bwaaahahahaa the internet is such a funny place
not.
