Kojima says he can be more than just the Metal Gear guy

"I'll admit that I hope my future endeavours are thought of as 'works by Hideo Kojima' rather than 'from the creator of Metal Gear. I haven't really shown the world what else I might be capable of yet. This may sound pretentious, but I don't like being thought of as 'the Metal Gear guy.' There's a lot more I can do." - Hideo Kojima

Maybe it's time for Kojima to take the reigns on another Boktai game! I'm not the only one that loves that franchise, am I?!

Prove it, Kojima...on a Nintendo console or handheld.
He also needs to prove to me that he can be more than "the Sony Guy", where the PlayStation systems are where most of his efforts have gone to.

I know he can be. He has been. But Konami won't let him, and he is too afraid of letting other people make Metal Gear without him. He's never going to be able to be, despite having the potential.

@jasonmaivia

I don't care what console it is on, but I agree that he needs to branch out and stop being a Sony fanboy. He's dabbled and allowed for ports to 360 and Nintendo consoles, but we need something original, non-MG(S), on either everything or simply not Sony for once.

BS.

He loves his movies too much to stop making them now.

Dude, he made the great Metal Gear 2 on the MSX2, as well as the original on the MSX1 and then the NES (which is where the series sold millions).

Plus, quite frankly, the PS1 and PS2 had way bigger audiences than any other console their generation. As for MGS4, you can't blame him for making that a PS3, given that track record of the PlayStation (and the fact that the PS3 was a monster of a console in terms of power and capabilities). Plus, the PlayStation controls just seem to "fit" Metal Gear Solid better than other consoles.

Still, I think MGS5 would be a great title for the WiiU. Having the WiiU Pad to change items and camouflage without a pause screen (or with a very quick, simple one) would be very nice.

I know about his history. It still doesn't change the fact that he's a very heavy Sony supporter.

Yes, he can, as evidenced by the god-awful, incoherent crap he called a storyline in "Castlevania" Lords of Shadow.

@Devil_Rising

He doesn't even have anything to do with LoS story, and for that matter, he barely even touched LoS. So shut it you uneducated clown.
