Im quite sure I read somewhere that nintendo developed an algorithm to automatically detect penises.

Maybe they might think it's a gun, which makes no sense since it is just a gun being fired and no one is being shot. Even then, the wii U has games like call of duty and I'm sure people aren't drawing rainbows on that games miiverse page.
One of those mods need retraining or is having a bad day lol.
It probably looked like a regular gun with a stylized burst to whoever saw it. It wasn't a post on a Metroid game, just NintendoLand as a whole, so it's not like it would immediately draw Samus to mind.
My guess is it can be confused for the end of a gun and they didn't want to promote gun violence.

Thank you for posting this because I was just about to post the same thing as well. I suspect the program is still in the beta stages or something so I am sure there is bound to be a few glitches with the program.
That's weird, they allowed that word in my ID (while saying the word killer was inappropriate).
Well, then next time, try drawing an expansive blast (like Zero Laser), or maybe just individual beam orbs.

I think they could get in trouble for prohibiting you from showing your faith even if it's not the intention for your ID, but they probably could get in trouble for allowing someone to "force views of faith on others" which someone can find offensive..
