The biggest flaw in the original game has been fixed. Yeah, i'm buying this game again on wii U
But... Checkpoints take away most of the challenge... %100ing this game on 3DS felt great BECAUSE it was hard. The Grannie levels were even more satisfying.

The game was perfectly fine without checkpoints. I 100%'d everything without issue.
That being said, I know some people who can't beat Mutant Mudds or Mighty Switch Force, so giving those people the OPTION of checkpoints is fine.
... as long as those people realize they will continue to be terrible at video games if they don't challenge themselves to get better.
Well this will make Mudds more accessible, so that's cool. I'll be turning them off, however.
Not having checkpoints made the game better for me. It was hard but fun.
As long as checkpoints can be disabled.
