because you totally need to use EVed pokes to beat a kid. people use them for competitive matches. if both sides are using EVed pokes, it can be very fun.

I bought Ruby and Black versions, beat the Elite Four in both games, and was done.
At least Black version had boosted EXP from Audinos to help mask the base monotomy of the core gameplay.
You gave up that quickly? I've been playing Pokemon the exact same way as Red/Blue(Green) since Red/Blue and it hasn't been much of an issue for me. If you really allowed people like some of those players stray you away from the complications of something you liked then that's not their or the game creator's problem.
Just play it like you always did and it'll be fine.
Best one yet!
Sounds like the writer has been schooled by EV'd Pokémon and is more than a little bitter about it. Still pretty funny.

Competitive Pokemon is fun when you battle against someone who knows what they're doing too. But it was an enjoyable video nonetheless.
*sigh* I remember Pokemon battling was fun before all that EV training.
It was funny. But was I suppose to be insulted? You just based a whole lot of people.
I'm a competitive battler, and I found this absolutely hilarious. =P
"Fun? Pokemon isn't about fun, its about Math...and winning!"
That pretty much explains the entire Standard OU metagame. =P
Was pretty funny, especially the EV training montage.
Not as funny as the last one, but it still was pretty funny.

Man these series is on a roll!
OK, as an EV Trainer... that was hilarous.
