Some readers, as well as a few people on the CheapAssGamer forums, have been telling us that Darksiders II on Wii U has been temporary reduced in price. You can find the game for $39.99 at select Target stores, so if you are interested in the game, be sure to look around!

Still pass. Why would I play this when I can just play Zelda?
@BlueRangerVegeta
..You got to be kidding me.
Really?
I can confirm that my local Target had it on sale. Price matched it at Best Buy, having bought it there back on Black Friday.
Why? The 1st Darksiders was, at best, a poor man's Zelda. I mean it was great for anybody who didn't own a Nintendo system, but I really don't see the point on WiiU.
pfpfpfpftttt... i don't quite understand all the comparisons to zelda its not really that similar...
Hmm.. this is a good deal, but I wonder if I wait longer that the deal will get better down the line? There are quite a few games like Batman, Darksiders, and Mass Effect to name a few that I would like to get, just not at $60 each.
That Funky Barn game (yeah it is KINDA cool) is only $29.99 now.
People mention resemblance on zelda because it shares ideas, and the developers got inspired by the series, not because is a Zelda clone, Darksiders have enough ideas to make it its own game and such a huge gameplay difference that any idiot can see right away is a different game.
People like you two is why other gaming community call us ignorant gamers, not being able to see pass the franchise we love, so blinded by your love for Zelda, and belive me, I fucking love zelda, but I enjoy other games, specially games that try to emulate the best parts of other games I love.
DSII is vastly superior to the first installment. Way more scope and deeper upgrades, rpg elements. Its a flattering copycat that does its own thing within its homage.
I want this game bad, i dont know if I can resist the Target deal. I want it go on sale in the eShop, but theres no way I'll flush $20
Saw this deal yesterday and decided to pick it up. I wasn't even too impressed with the first one, but from what i've played, this game is superior in every way. I'm really enjoying it.
