I honestly can see this being one giant scam of sorts. It IS Capcom and they are notorious for things like like releasing the same game 3 times in one year with little to no REAL changes or reason for doing so. I still hope that there is SOMETHING to all this. Watch it turns out that it is a message from Capcom regarding the release of a new Mega Man game, but it will only hit the servers (or be put up) when the announcement is made. So it might never have been anything until there actually was something, if that makes any sense to you.
Considering the way the guy was hyping this update on his Twitter account, I was under the assumption they found something ground breaking. It's a shame it was little more than a "Someone checked the game code and it shows nothing" answer.
If it takes an hour to go through 1,000 rooms, I don't know what Capcom thinks who'd be in the right mind to try to play through up to 99,999 stages, no matter how pro they are.
If the entire game's code was scanned and nothing was found, I think it's time to give up. Capcom has probably been trolling us this whole time.
I hope GT keeps doing Pop Fiction. It's easily the best thing they have to offer on their site
I can't believe nobody realized this was all a marketing trick to get people to buy the DLC. Did everybody forget it's Capcom?

I don't believe there is a secret, sadly.
