I'm not very good at strategy games but I must say, this game looks very promising. I may have to pick it up at launch.

Am I the only one that misses the English "flavor text" that used to be on the game's logo?
I miss it too although I understand why they wanted to remove it for the English release. I think it looks great on the Japanese logo because of the contrast of language, but I don't think it meshes as well if the whole thing's in English.
Day 1 for me.

From what I've heard, there's mixed reactions about the game. If you liked Sacred Stones then this is right up your alley. If you like more traditional fire emblems, then it's okay. I'll be picking it up day one no matter the reviews, though.
I really think I will like this one, haven't played the one for the DS but so far FE hasn't dissapointed.
Don't bother with the DS one. One of the most disappointing games I've played and easily the worst Fire Emblem released in the west.

The music in the game is excellent. The main theme arrangement is freaking other worldly.

I gotta disagree. The Sacred Stones was the worst Fire Emblem game in recent years. Even on hard, that game was freaking easy. That and some of the level design was "meah."
But at least it had a story and some interesting characters. Shadow Dragon is just boring.

Yep, I can't wait to pick this up.
Only played one Fire Emblem game before (the ambassador one on GBA), yet I can't wait for this one! It looks awesome!
