“It gives them a head start. I think they should be congratulated on making this a truly multimedia device. I don't think that advantage is going to last very long.” - Michael Pachter
Just how quickly will the competition move in? Is Pachter talking about options on PS3 and 360 or options on their next-gen systems? Hopefully things take awhile to get moving, giving Nintendo a chance to really shine with Nintendo TVii. Thanks to John for the heads up.

I dont like Pachter
Since the things aren't even announced yet i don't see the ps4/720 coming out before October. That's a big enough head start if you ask me
I don't think we'll see something even remotely similar to Nintendo TVii till the next xbox and PS4 and that won't be till about a year or so for from now at the least. I also doubt they'll be the same, as they're likely to be their own services with their own monthly fees.
Don't worry folks, he'll change his tune tomorrow..
Tvii is nintendoooooomed!
You can't do what Nintendo is doing without a second screen.
And if someone else puts out a second screen, it may mean more games.
But then again. ...
Mike from Morgantown
yeah, they will put a multi-touch screen in their controller, and all the developers will say they can't port their games to the WiiU because of the lack of a multi-touch screen....
The Xbox 360 in its current form is much better at this stuff than the Wii U TV. I do think tvii is a bit easier to use in some aspects.
I dislike Pachter
