Since it’s now okay to blurt this out, here goes: the “MOTHER republication” thing I mentioned briefly before is making progress. It’s not “(MOTHER) 4″, though! This has to do with making “MOTHER” playable. I can’t give out any details just yet, but I do at least need to say that it isn’t 4.
Well now...talk about an interesting turn of events! Something is up with the franchise, but what could it be?

But I could see it being a 3D Classic for no reason.

3DS remakes would be delicious. And its about time, ive wanted to dip into the series for a while now but ive yet to get a chance to with actual carts and whatnot.
ANYTHING Mother-related by Itoi is awesome in my opinion. Now let's hope that it comes to the West (whatever it is).

In all honesty it's probably the Mother trilogy coming to Japanese Virtual Console, I mean they haven't even got it yet and it used to be a really popular franchise there. Don't mind me just eating 5,000 grains of salt on my life noodles so I don't get disappointed again.
I'm pleased to see that my assumption that Itoi didn't want to have anything to do with Mother was incorrect. The fact that they're looking at localizing stuff over here is quite exciting to say the least.
Let us all hope we will see a compilation for the 3DS. PLEASE.

Guys, if we want this to come to NA and Europe, we need to start NOW. Operation Mr.SaturnFall. Remember, all of those petitions over at Starman came before the rise of social media and stuff. We should be trying everything. Heck, let's petition the President for it, simply because it'd get attention to our cause when the media posts a story about how a bunch of gamers are petitioning the president to urge Nintendo to release it in America.
