Melee always had input lag. Glad they decided to eliminate that concept from this mod. And what is up with the downvotes? Are people senile and terrified of or anti mods? I think this gives Wii more life than it would ever have had. The Smash community is the most lively out there.
For me it isn't about it being a mod, I'd downvote it (though I rarely vote on-site regardless) for the few reasons I have. 1) This mod community is talented, and should spend time making their own game rather than putsing around on a game that 2) Many apparently hate cause (God forbid) it's not Melee in any way shape or form, which is a waste of time cause 3) They'll eventually have to restart the whole process again when SSB4 comes out, knowing this wouldn't be finished.

They're 2 demos away from making an official public release. This should come out before SSB4. And I wouldn't say this is simply making Brawl another Melee. Melee wasn't too balanced; Brawl was not balanced. P:M will be balanced, simple as that.

Maybe a new game is a next step, but there's clearly a demand for Project M as it is given the number of downloads. They're not in it to make money, they're in it for the fun.
SSB4 likely won't change much about Project M. It'll have better graphics assuredly, but it would be shocking if SSB4 copied Project M's new moves and balance tweaks (not to mention the Melee physics). They'll stand apart.

I feel you. These guys would make a hell of a game, I think, if they had their own properties to work on, but instead, they've just been doing a damn good job improving the hell out of Brawl. People don't hate Brawl because it's not Melee. People often don't like Brawl because it's slow and it removed a lot of gameplay elements that significantly lowered the amount of options you have at any given point in gameplay. That's LONG before you get to any of Melee's famous exploits, those are irrelevant. At any rate I don't see the reason to downvote this news in particular.
But yeah I don't think this shovel will ever be finished at this rate
Very much needed. Demo 2.1 felt a bit clunky; I knew it was missing something...
lol dude, thhat was form Brawl itself. So glad they fixed it. XD
Aaand... there's the downvotes. -_-

I guess someone out there likes input lag.
im 12 and this is sacrilege
