More hope for Senran Kagura seeing release outside of Japan?

The following comes from Senran Kagura producer, Kenichiro Takaki...

“I’ll wrap the world in happy boobs next year.”

Certainly sounds like Senran Kagura-related info. This could always pertain to the anime as well. Thanks to VGAMER for the heads up.

My hope for this game coming overseas rises more and more, hopefully it won't end in disappointment.

Well, I'm already in wait for the new anime next month, hopefully we'll hear more news soon.

@YoshiRider123

Nope, it's just fantasy.

Just kidding, for a more open world without barriers I don't look down on this idea.

I'm sure it's not the ONLY thing rising.

Seriously, though. I would buy it. For the gameplay, of course. Yup yup.

It would be fantastic if this happened. I already have the game and its one of the most addictive 3ds games there is. I would happily support a localization. Don't let the big boobed lesbian ninjas fool you. Within that obvious sex appeal lies a very deep game.

Don't know why you guys are getting your hopes up... It will be the Vita game if anything, especially if XSEED is localising.

If it's only going to be one game, Burst would make much more sense to localize now than Shinovi Versus.

Especially since no one on their forums cares for Shinovi Versus except a few people.

You just need to look at the number of Vita games they've localised compared to the number of 3DS games they've localised. They're just about to release their first 3DS title and that's only because it's also a PSP game... and it still took them half a year extra for no apparent reason. I wouldn't expect another 3DS game from them for quite a while.

They released only one Vita game and it bombed.

And the reason the 3DS version of Unchained Blades was delayed, was due to a technical issue that happened because Unchained Blades was not optimized for an Eshop release in Japan.

According to Xseed on their forums, this time Nintendo of America had nothing to do with the delay.

I think he might be including Orgarhythm and Sumioni, which are indeed Vita games although they're from the PSN.

Either way, I honestly don't think this means much. Like with any other group, Xseed works on games that they hope are worth the payoff of localizing, regardless of system. They do market research and all that. Xseed is certainly aware that most of the interest in Senran Kagura is in Burst rather than Shinovi Versus, which isn't even out in Japan yet. Plain and simple, Burst is just a much more viable title to go for no matter how you look at it.

Well if we ignore PSN games then Unchained Blades doesn't count anyway which means it's still 1 vs 0. Also keep in mind that the 3DS is a year older than the PSV, it's taken them nearly two years to release one 3DS game whilst they've had three Vita games in less than a year and one of them was at launch. Also out of the last three Nintendo platform games XSEED has published(Solatorobo, TLS, UCB) they've only had to localise one and even then they're just using the same localisation as the PSP version. It's pretty clear they're only making minimal investments on Nintendo platforms so I don't expect them to localise Senran Kagura Burst(which is actually two games, not just one).
