Controller is abomination... I'm tired of people saying that the traditional button layout= xbox layout... Sorry folks... just because you were born in the 2000's does not mean button layouts were too... I'll take my TRADITIONAL
.....X
.Y......A
.....B
configuration thank you very much...
I also am quite fond of the analog sticks up top too... SUPER comfortable...
Nyko to the rescue! I'll definitely be taking advantage of the battery situation, maybe I'll snag their pro controller but only after I get a few others.
YESSSSSSSS (to the last item in this video)!! AHHHHH!! I have the Nyko battery that you have to install for 3DS, and i've never had a problem! I can't imagine 3DS' battery life without it!

Does the actual Nyko controller have an "xbox layout"? In the promotional photos, the A and B buttons are switched from the normal Nintendo layout, but the X and Y buttons are correct. In the preview picture of this video, it shows what looks like an actual photo of the controller, and it seems like it has the traditional Nintendo layout.
I would not be surprised if the promotional photo is just a mock up with an error on the button layout, and the actual controller features the traditional button configuration. After all, it doesn't make much sense to change the A and B buttons, but leave the X and Y.
Or am I missing something?
Anyway, if it's a reliable controller, good stuff, considering it's cheaper than Nintendo's offering, and allows for more options for those who prefer the "staggered" stick configuration.
Looks like Ill be getting that battery replacer next month, if it's decently priced. Thanks Nyko!

I want a classic controller with a staggered layout, but not like this, ew.
