I love how terrible the sound in the Super Mario World port is. The Genesis' sound card was absolutely horrible.

Now, don't base the sound of the Genesis on a cheaply done pirate cart. The Genesis is capable of tremendous sound. Games like Comix Zone, Ecco the Dolphin, Mean Bean Machine/Puyo Puyo, the Streets of Rage series, and of course, the Sonic series are just a few examples of how greatly the YM2612 could be used.
