As promised, Nintendo is holding a Nintendo Direct event for Japan tomorrow morning. The official time has been revealed. The event is taking place at 6:00 AM East Coast time. Remember, this event focuses on 3DS third party software.

Again? How many times have they remade those games already? Don't you think they'd be better off figuring out how to make new Final Fantasy games not suck than re-remaking the older titles all over again?

Wii U feels like the forgotten child already
Did you already forget about the ND featuring the Wii U; the one just before the last one? You know, the one that talked about Mario 3D, Zelda Wind Waker, Bayonetta 2, Yarn Yoshi, Monolith Soft's X, and the whole lot? Be patient, they'll have more to say about the Wii U eventually, it's the 3DS's turn now...

I wasn't aware they remade those games. You must mean the ports. I'm talking about full fledge remakes; the kind of remakes we got with Final Fantasy III and IV on the DS and now Dragon Quest VII 3DS. They did well with those. I would like NEW Final Fantasy games as much as anyone but since when did Square Enix ever release a new, main numbered title for a handheld? Even though the 3DS is destorying everything in Japan right now, the safe bet is they will keep their main focus on consoles while portables like the 3DS will likely to continue to get spinoffs, remakes and new IPs like Bravely Default.

Aye, I was thinking of those... didn't know they stopped at four, I thought they did more...

And that's why Square, amongst many others, are falling to pieces these days ...
they should be more worried with the wiiu. 3ds is doing just fine. especially after the ps4 news. nintendo needs to kill some of the ps4 hype before it impacts sales
3AM PST? ugh, I can wake up early like 6 AM, but I can't stay up late. Will have to watch this in the morning.
But I am really interested in this one. I am guessing they will show smt4, maybe yokai watch. I can't really think of anything else that's already announced. There's gotta be something new.
neat , it is at a convenient hour for us , continental Europeans ! ... seriously don't stay up , all you have to do now is turn on the wii u and watch it there . Big screen and all that
as for wii u , now more than ever , i'm delighted by that lineup not full of linear scripted auto aim shooters , seriously wonderful 101 , bayonetta 2 , pikmin 3 , game and wario, wii fit u (unless sonymusic is the thing for you) , mario 3d , mario kart , wii party 2 and x . I'm good , lego , nfs , and ninja gaiden will fill in the blank . I do hope for a non tekken 3d fighter at some point . Simply new ways , new activities , new form of interactions , how can you not be bored about the shooter - action genre after the games coming every single month for seven years now and probably even ten years from now .
oh goody
Should've been [yesterday 20/2], imho - still... Hype!
... Geez, it's 3.20am here in the UK, and this is at 11am. Goddamit I need some sleep.
Dear America,
you better have one too soon. For Bravely Default. Please.
Just Japan, eh?
Can't wait to see all the 3rd party games that Japan will hog to themselves. (^ΒΈ^)
Maybe.
Remember that a sizeable amount of ND's have had all the regions announce theirs separately afew hours apart.
Awesome, I'll be able to watch it live since the ice apocalypse is bringing forth a snow day at my school.
Come on Square, do a remake of Final Fantasy V and VI already. Look at the sales of DQ7. Easy money.
Besides MH4 and some quirky, niche Japanese games, not sure what else to expect.
Wait, another one? And AGAIN for 3DS?

I want to see what 3rd parties are doing for Wii U personally but I'll definitely tune in for this.
FFVI or FFVIII announcements and its vitas funeral, instantly.
