Japan's AR/Prepaid card sets - more details
- feaures characters from the Super Mario series
- due out April 23rd
- prepaid card doubles as an AR card
- the software is called Isshoni Photo (Take a Picture Together)
- will be available as a free download that can be accessed via a QR code on the card packaging
- take photographs with and interact with digital characters
- total of six different cards
- each with different monetary increments
- Goomba (1,000 yen), Mario (2,000 yen) and Peach (3,000 yen) will be released on April 23
- Koopa Troopa (1,000 yen), Luigi (2,000 yen) and Bowser (3,000 yen) will be at a later date
- put two different character cards together to see what kind of animation will happen
- move the digital characters outside of the limits of the card
