They can choose one of the remaining five titles to enjoy playing on Nintendo 3DS themselves, or select one they've already registered for the promotion to give to a friend to either share the fun, or experience some exciting multiplayer action!

There are eight top Nintendo 3DS games eligible in this promotion:

Meanwhile in America: Register one 3DS game and we'll give you a code to download Donkey Kong! Yeah, the same Donkey Kong that was released in arcades and then on the NES and the same Donkey Kong that you have downloaded on every other Nintendo system that you've ever owned. I mean, who can't use one more copy? Be happy America, we're giving you something for FREE because we love you.

Wait a second. Am I reading this right? Buy ONE of these games and you get another ONE for free??

AMERICA STEP IT UP.

@gojiguy

Well, it's actually buy 3 get one free but still a great deal if you were planning on getting at least 4 of those games anyway. I'm kind of on the fence about Animal Crossing and DKCR 3D but IF WE HAD THIS PROMOTION IN AMERICA I'd definitely pick one of those two up along with Castlevania and Luigi's Mansion and get the last one free.

No, it's "Buy three of those games and get a fourth for free", but still a good offer.

I have Luigis Mansion 2 and Fire Emblem Awakening... and I was going to get Lego City or Donkey Kong next month maybe.... so Free Animal Crossing as a download that will be on my 3DS... forever. Sounds like a sweet deal to me.

Except it wasn't the same Donkey Kong. In fact, none of the Donkey Kong games you've referenced were the same version.

The excellent arcade port isn't readily available for download legally. Which was different than the sloppy port on the NES, missing frames of animation and an entire level. Which was different than the "Better than the NES, but still not as good as the Arcade" original edition, the one you received for completing that promotion.

But please feel free to continue to complain and look like an overly entitled meathead.

Whelp, I guess "Buy two, get the third one free!" would've been a bit too demanding and good to be true. Sitting on only Luigi and Fire Emblem, with no real intention of paying for a third one of these games, it's a tricky decision if it's worth buying a third game cheap (or buying and returning for whatever loss) to get Animal Crossing or MonHun for free. Sadly, it isn't exactly "free" anymore if it would take that... Guess I'll most likely miss this offer but it's probably a pretty fantastic opportunity for many others.

I hope this shows up here. I'm planning to get DK Country for 3DS anyway, and I've registered two others recently.

Hmm hopefully this also comes to america. I have luigi's mansion and fire emblem so I could buy animal crossing and get something else for free. It will be my first animal crossing game. The rest of the games don't interest me as much. Maybe PMD. I liked the 2 previous PMD games but this one doesn't look great.

I really hope this comes to America. I already have two, and I'm certainly getting Animal Crossing, so I guess the other one would be either DKCR3D or MH3U.

Please come to North America. I would just have to buy one more game to get a free one...

Aaaand I won't be able to use this since we don't have Club Nintendo here. *sigh*
Though, I had no intention of getting other games than Luigi's Mansion and Animal Crossing from that list... POSSIBLY Mystery Dungeon.

You forgot the part where it only applies if you bought the game digitally. I bought two of the four eligible games physically and registered them but that got me nothing. The fine print mentioned that.
