We're certainly overdue for that Wii U update. I would hope that it's sooner rather than later!

I'm getting Watch Dogs, and will probably pick up Rayman Legends in a while. I support Ubisoft, and one reason is because they're one of the few "big" companies to support Wii U

5000? Surely that must be a typo. I don't even see how that's possible

I'm certainly going to get AC4. I got AC3 for Wii U and despite lack of Achievements (I just missed 'em a bit as I was used to them on the 360 AC's) it was pretty great for what it was. The map was really handy.

But that's really all that I'll be getting. Watch_Dogs isn't appealing to me and I was never that big of a Rayman fan. I only ever played Hoodlum Havoc. As far as Splinter Cell goes I only ever played and beat Pandora Tomorrow. It was OK but stealth ain't my thing. It's too demanding of a game style for me. (High pressure)
They need to bring out a new PoP game. I'd be all over that.

Uh... Isn't AC3 a UPlay title? You get achievements from UPlay.

It's not a typo, but it also flopped on the PS3 and 360. It's already received a price cut.

It sold to this day 300k on the PS3, a console with 75 millions user base, but since is 300,000 units, no one says anything...

From the many developers and journalists she knows. Its easy. You dont have to be a spy to get information.

That's not to say it did worthwhile numbers in-general. No specific news has yet been released... But yes, Rayman, atleast in Europe, is said to have done better on WiiU

Where do you get the Splinter Cell numbers?
I've heard people say like you ZombieU failed. How so? Has UBI actually pusblished numbers for both retail and e-shop?
Or is it a case of they had projected sales for a million copies and sold half? (I suspect the latter).
Now regarding Splinter cell, personally I wanted to play local co-op, and play online in co-op with a local player through the gamepad + TV. These features are missing, and the local co-op only from the Wii U version, so I refuse to pay a premium of $59.99 for a gimped version.
I feel I already have done my share of UBI support with AC3, ZombieU and Rayman Legends. Splinter Cell I will very likley get as well, now that I see retail has it for $45. Watchdogs I will wait to see some reviews before jumping in, but it's on my list of likely purchases as well. AC4, not quite, haven't finished AC3 yet.

I do support Ubisoft. I would have bought Rayman Legends if it had come out when it was supposed to but I'm broke now so...

Yeah, it's a good idea to support Ubisoft...it's a good idea to support anyone putting games on the Wii U. I plan on getting Rayman and Splinter Cell, maybe the new Assassin's Creed too...not sure about Watch Dogs.

It's good that Ubi have been pretty good with Wii U support, considering it hasn't really paid off for them too much, so I bough ACIII, Rayman Legends, Splinter Cell Blacklist, and will buy ACIV, WATCH_DOGS, and Child of Light.

I have Rayman, Splinter Cell and AC3. I'm getting AC4 and Watch_Dogs; and I hope many Wii U owners do as well!

And yet she was the only who knew the exact days we were getting that Youtube for Wii update, and Miiverse for PC / Smartphones, way back...

I got Assassin's Creed 3 a few months after I got my Wii U, on sale for 40 dollars. Very worth the purchase, and my first Assassin's Creed game. I'd already have gotten Rayman Legends if I had the money.

Where do you get the Splinter Cell numbers?

It was allover the net... gonintendo included. It is just a rumour since there are no official numbers but I can see that beeing a reality. The game was really low on WiiUs chat in england and since even the games on the first places sell about 10 thousand copies since the console is pretty dead here I can see that numbers as being real...

One of many sources is here
http://wiiudaily.com/2013/09/low-blacklist-wii-u-sales/

though it clearly says its a rumour.

I'm sure that until now they already sold more copies. Maybe 7000 already...

Nobody should be asking anyone to buy a game besides a developer, and their statement should be the quality of the release.

She is the only one who dares to spill the beans, since she is not either a journalist or developer, she has no reason to keep her mouth shut.

Please don't give WiiUDaily more clicks... If you want to see it firsthand, go to the official Splinter Cell Shadownet website, and pick Wii U as the platform. Currently it says there are almost 20k total users (but only 300 online at any time). For reference, the 360 version has over 500k total users and 4000 people online.

I haven't gotten Rayman Legends yet (But note to Ubisoft: I could have bought it back in February), but I plan on getting it sometime soon. And I have a very sad feeling that the Wii U update is just gonna be bug fixes, possibly leading up to a bigger update. I think they should at least make Nintendo TVii an app for the regular menu screen, then make "Video Chat" one of the things on the Home-Button's Menu.

I've been supporting Ubisoft. They are the best Third Party publisher on Wii U. Zombi U, ACIII, Splinter Cell Blacklist, Rayman Legends, ACIV, and Watch_Dogs all in a year? That's impressive.

I got Rayman Legend just to support UbiSoft in Wii U and I will definitely buy AC4 and Watch Dogs for Wii U.

I buy the games I like [not because I'm asked to], and two of Ubisoft's games just happened to fall under that: ZombiU and Rayman Legends [once I accepted the Wii U version delay...]

The only other one I'm interested about is their RPG game atm.

Picked up a WiiU this weekend and got ZombiU, AC3, and Rayman Legends.

I appreciate Ubisoft supporting the system, and I have bought a few Ubisoft games, but I can't purchase them all.. I felt like I was burned from buying AC3, the value was terrible. I played through about 7 sequences before I just stopped playing it completely out of sheer boredom, its just not a very good game if it can't keep my attention.

Loved ZombiU, didn't like Rayman, Blacklist is just like every AAA game we have seen the last 7 years..... I'm a consumer, not a charity, and if Ubisoft wants me to purchase their product, they have to make something interesting... I'm liking what I saw in Watch_dogs so far, and I'll probably give it a chance, but I cannot bring myself to buy AC4, Splinter Cell, and Rayman legends...

Doing something creative and different gets my money. Zombi U hit that note just fine, Watch_dogs is set to do the same..

But nothing will touch my GOTD (game of the decade for me), Wonderful 101.. simply superb.

@element187

I think you're my clone! Except, I knew AC3 wasn't going to be something I'd enjoy.

But everything else you typed is EXACTLY what I would type.

Now, excuse me while I get back to expanding my Wonderful army...
