When it comes to the Opera browser for the Wii, one would think that Opera would approach Nintendo with ideas, and then Nintendo would okay certain things for a go ahead. Apparently things don’t work that way at all. Opera is told by Nintendo what functionality to put into the browser. If Nintendo doesn’t tell them, then Opera isn’t doing it. Seems the same goes for the DS browser. Opera isn’t quite sure why it hasn’t seen a US release yet. They would love to see a stateside release, but can only speculate as to why Nintendo is holding it back.
