Cave Story WiiWare is coming out next week. I know, I can’t believe it either! This has been years in the making, and now we’re just a few days away . I hope you’re as pumped as I am. Trust me, the game is without a doubt, worth the wait.
As you’ve probably noticed, the official Cave Story blog has been going into promotional overdrive, featuring tribute work from various artists. Imagine my surprise when one of those prints landed on at my front door.
This print is absolutely gorgeous. We’ve actually featured the digital version on the site in the past. For those that saw that, you probably know another little fact about this print. Notice the name in the lower right-hand corner? Let’s flip it over for another look…
Yepper, this work was created by Cory Godbey! The very same Cory that give us the wonderful ‘bit and run’ series every Friday morning. I can’t tell you how honored I am to have a print of his!
He’s not the only one doing tribute work for Cave Story, though. You can check out some prints that other media outlets received below. I’ll update this post if I come across any more.
