Pirate Battle still alive

I was extremely pleased to see this email pop up in my Gmail. Reader Johnny4 sent me a link to a thread over at Orbital Media’s (Scurge: Hive, Juka) website. According to the thread, the long in development Pirate Battle isn’t dead at all. The GBA version has been cancelled, but the DS version is definitely in the works. The comment from an Orbital Media team member also comes with a cryptic statement…

The only thing I can say is that there will be no GBA version of Priate Battle and DS is not the only system that it will come out on.

I wonder what that means. I am hoping it is related to a Wii announcement, but than again, maybe it is another portable version for the PSP. I could be wrong altogether, what do you guys think?

By the way, Nicky Hill and I are working to put together a special dual review of Scurge: Hive, a game neither of us can gush enough about. This type of review will be a first for GoNintendo. No word on when it will be done, all I can say is that I hope it can be put together soon!
