GN Version 3.1

More and more Nintendo DS® and Nintendo DSi(TM) players are experiencing the adventures of Pokémon with the latest instalments in the Pokémon franchise - Pokémon(TM) HeartGold Version and Pokémon(TM) SoulSilver Version. In only one week, Pokémon HeartGold Version and Pokémon SoulSilver Version have combined to sell through more than 50,000 units in Australia*.

In Pokémon HeartGold Version and Pokémon SoulSilver Version players return to the beloved Johto region, first encountered in Pokémon Gold Version and Pokémon Silver Version for the Game Boy(TM). Pokémon HeartGold Version and Pokémon SoulSilver Version introduce players to several new enhancements for the series that enrich these timeless adventures. In particular, the new Pokéwalker(TM) accessory comes included with each game so that players can now continue to enjoy the world of Pokémon by taking a part of it with them in their Pokéwalker wherever they go!

Players can wirelessly transfer any of their Pokémon from one of the two games to their Pokéwalker. By walking around in real life, with any Pokémon in the Pokéwalker, players earn ‘Watts’ which are used within the Pokéwalker to encounter and catch wild Pokémon, or to search for hidden items and unlock new Routes.

The strong first week sales of Pokémon HeartGold Version and Pokémon SoulSilver Version have continued to highlight the wide-ranging appeal of the Pokémon franchise; from existing fans, to those who have never played before, and to those returning back to the series.
