RUMOR - 3DS to have single friend code per system
Here’s a rumor that is both good and bad. Word has it that the 3DS is going to be using friend codes, but each system is only going to use one friend code for all games. No more separate friend codes for each game you play online. If this rumor turns out to be true, it’s good to hear that we don’t have to screw around with tons of friend codes anymore. On the flip-side, it’s sad to see friend codes sticking around! Thanks to Darkurai for the heads up!
