Confirmed - MDK 2 coming to WiiWare

Rumor has it that MDK 2 is coming to WiiWare. I’m calling this rumor because there’s no mention of this information on the official Interplay site.

“It is a great pleasure to announce that we are returning to the adventures of Kurt Hectic, Dr. Hawkins and the 6-legged gun-toting robotic dog Max.”, said Hervé Caen, CEO of Interplay. “MDK2 was a great title to work on and we’re happy to have some of the original team working on these new versions” seconded Trent Oster, co-Founder of Beamdog.

I absolutely loved MDK 2, and would be really excited to see it hit Wii. I don’t know how they can cram that game into just 40 megs! Thanks to Mehar for the heads up.
