The mysteries of Super Pitfall II
Did you know that at one point, Activision was going to release Super Pitfall II for the NES? If you knew that, try this one on for size. Activision wasn’t really making a new game, as they were just porting over the Japanese title Atlantis no Nazo. This game had absolutely nothing to do with the Pitfall series, but Activision was determined to cram the worlds together. Thankfully, we were spared the release of this localization, as Activision apparently came to their minds. You can check out all sorts of details on the game that almost was at the link below.
