First off, thanks to Neodozzprime for the heads up on this story.

I hop on AIM late tonight and am presented with a link to playbomb.com. I head on over to find the weirdest damn thing I have seen yet concerning the Revolution. The fact that this news is hot on the heels of Miyamoto’s mysterious comments about a custom screen for games seems ALL too coincidental. That leads me to believe that either A) someone works VERY fast, or B) this is the real deal. As far as I can tell you right now, either answer is possible, but one is definitely more likely. So let’s start things off with picture number one.

Behold the Futurna!

A man calling himself Phoenix is the one responsible for releasing these pictures. Phoenix says that these pictures are from early conceptual stages, that is why the Revolution appears so awkward and bulky. The items below each controller are some sort of roll-up portable screen. Take a look at the second picture below to get a better idea of the screen.

LAYZER BEEMS!

Phoenix states that the screens have a control panel on the side that can be navigated with a stylus that is in a little compartment atop the screen. Also, the oval areas on either side of the screen are supposed to be built in speakers. Lastly, I think the laser beams being shot out of the Revolution are just for effect. I really have NO idea what is going on here, but that is all the information I have to give you right now. I’ll make sure to keep you guys updated on this situation. If there were ever a story to get over 50 comments, this would HAVE to be it!
