Beyond Good & Evil rumor squashed by Ubisoft

“Absolutely NO sequel to BGE is currently under development. This rumour is pure speculation”

That is a quote directly from a Ubisoft rep when Puissance-Nintendo contacted the company to see if they could get a confirmation. Ubisoft even went as far to say that this rumor was “groundless”. Ubisoft did say that while nothing is coming in the near future, they reserve the right to make a sequel. So Ubisoft says nothing is coming down the pipe right now, but it could happen in the future. We all know that statements like those are just made to cover their you know what.

What do you guys think, is Ubisoft telling us the truth, or are they trying to keep things quiet until E3? YES…I am a HUGE BG&E fan and will hold onto any little bit of hope there is for a sequel. Huge thanks to San from Puissance-Nintendo for the heads up!
