Miyamoto doesn't have an SNES
Looking to have Miyamoto play something on an SNES? Don’t hold your breath. One fan tried to get Miyamoto to play a game on the SNES, in order to have a save file from the big man himself. He sent Nintendo an SNES cart that he wanted Miyamoto to play…and then received this response.
“Unfortunately, he [Miyamoto] could not play your Star Fox game cartridge, because he did not have SNES system. However, he autographed on it. We sincerely appreciate your kind words and interest in Nintendo products. Sorry for the delay of replying to you.” - Signed, Nintendo Co., Ltd.
I guess it would have been different if the game were for the Super Famicom. Looks like Nintendo/Miyamoto don’t have any North American SNES units sitting around.
