RUMOR - Nintendo once had interest in Retro doing a Sheik game?
Here’s an out-of-nowhere rumor for you guys, which comes from some random internet chatter. With that said, the source of this information is someone that has been pretty spot-on in the past.
Rumor has it that at some point a few years ago, Nintendo had interest in Retro Studios working on a title centered on Sheik from The Legend of Zelda series. For a number of reasons, that project never really got off the ground. Some elements or ideas for that project may have made it into other Retro games…but I guess we’ll never know for sure!
