GN Version 3.1

- beefing up manufacturing and replenishment plans
- looking to avoid retail shortages at launch
- preorders out-pacing Wii preorders
- total UK pre-orders will most likely surpass the Wii

“3DS is the most amazing bit of technology that will help take gaming to a new level. Its 3D features blew me away, and I’m sure it will prove one of the biggest global launches ever, which we really look forward to supporting.” - HMV CEO Simon Fox

“It will be the hottest property this year. I think we’ll see demand outstrip supply, which is a good thing for the industry.” - Asda’s Andrew Thompson

With this kind of popularity already, it’s going to be awfully tough for Nintendo to keep up with the initial demand. Are we in for years of supply shortages yet again?
