Is there a truly good game to move adaptation? Some films have done an admirable job of getting the look of a game down (Silent Hill), but none of them really stand up to the subject material. Still though, it would be nice to one day see a few of our favorite franchises get a great movie as well.
MSNBC has put together a small list of 5 games they believe should be on the list. Prince of Persia made the cut, but they speak of the movie as if it isn’t going to happen. I guess they haven’t been staying up on the latest Disney/Bruckheimer news. Metroid also makes an appearance on the list. I would love to see a movie based on the game, but I am afraid it would get screwed up in the process. I remember when the two guys that did Final Destination were set to make the Metroid movie. Man am I glad that day passed.
What other games would you like to see made into movies? Of course, we are expecting that your choices would actually turn out well on the big screen. Thanks to Freakshow for the link!
