2K Sports Announces Competitive '��King of the Court'�� Mode in Top Spin 4
Hello everyone. My name is Jean Karl Tupin-Bron, Game Designer on Top Spin 4. Today, I’m going to talk to you about one of our new multiplayer game modes, King of the Court.
When we started to brainstorm ideas for new multiplayer game modes, our goal was to come up with concepts that gamers of all skill levels could immediately latch on to and that were engaging enough to replay with friends – both on and offline. One the best examples what the team was targeting is the Mario Kart franchise. Mario Kart games are easy and fun enough for the novice to pick up and play, but for those players that really know the courses, characters, and items, it evolves into an entirely different game based upon each player’s strategy.
