ngmoco thinks 3DS will be 'competitive' with smartphone market, 3D is gimmicky, 3rd party support questionable
The following comments come from ngmoco boss Neil Young…
“I think they (Nintendo and Sony) are hurt; I think they’re clearly hurt. …I think Nintendo will likely be competitive. My personal opinion is that the 3D piece of the puzzle is kind of gimmicky. But Nintendo has great franchises and there are tens of millions of people who want to participate in those franchises, so that always helps… But the real question is the degree to which there’s a third-party community.”
Not the best picture one could pain for Nintendo, but Mr. Young had some much harsher words for Sony. He sees the PSP as done, and the NGP as being dead on arrival.
