Good samaritan proves that the internet isn't such a bad place

I don’t know if you guys have checked out Reddit, but it’s a pretty fun place to hang out online. On top of that, the people there seem to be more into doing kind things instead of anonymously hating everyone and everything.

Case in point, the happy little girl above. Her father was looking into getting her a DS/DSi/DSi XL, and he was asking around on Reddit to see which was best. His daughter has been excelling in school, and he wanted to reward her for the hard work. Unfortunately, the dad didn’t have too much cash to get his daughter the gaming goodies she wanted, so he was working overtime to make it happen.

That’s where a kind Reddit soul decided to purchase a Wii for this young girl, and sent it over to the dad free of charge. Don’t these kind of stories just make your day?
