Nintendo 3DS launch dates unaffected by tragedy in Japan

“Business operations, including future product shipments, have not been affected. Our thoughts and best wishes are with everyone who has friends and family members who may have been affected by the earthquake or tsunami.” - Nintendo statement

I know a few people have been wondering if there was going to be a change of plans with the launch dates, but it looks like Nintendo is moving forward as planned. I guess enough units have made it into other territories already, and they’re just waiting to be sold. After the initial shipments, will have to see if there are any issues.
