Is playing multiplayer online the wrong way to play?

I understand that some people do not have friends or family members that play video games. That makes it a bit tough to play multiplayer games. The only option left in that situation is online multiplayer, and I think that’s fantastic. The thing is, when it comes to online multiplayer or local multiplayer, I’ll take the local any day. For those that have gaming buddies, there’s no better way to go.
